Music & Culture

art-1We are great concert-goers at JG and are particularly proud of our association with the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra whose concerts we have been supporting for over 20 years.

We have an ongoing relationship with the BPO and visit every one of their Sunday afternoon concerts during the season from September to March.

What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the winter.

Our interest in music takes us to all sorts of other concerts at venues such as The Albert Hall, The Barbican and various cathedrals as well as some more intimate venues.

The British Museum is another favourite destination with their regular programme of fascinating exhibitions and, to satisfy our art lovers, we frequently visit places such as The Royal Academy, Tate Britain and The Dulwich Picture Gallery for special exhibitions.

Every year we try and include a ballet in our programme this may be one of the touring Russian Ballets or The English National Ballet at Covent Garden.

Recent Trips include:
Two Temple Place
Leonardo at The National Gallery
Turner Contemporary
Watts Gallery
Classical Spectacular at The Albert Hall
Royal British Legion Concert at The Guildhall
